Hina Matsuri - Dolls Festival ひな祭り
Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival, also known as Girls' Day) is a traditional and fun gathering event for children, students, families, and seniors of all ages. Let's enjoy an early spring afternoon together, wishing everyone’s good health. It is a great opportunity to chat with members and make new friends. It is also a chance to enjoy Japanese pastries. EJCA owns two hina dolls sets: one is a pre-war Ohina-sama and one is a new Ohina-sama. You are also welcome to come dressed in kimonos for the occasion!
Fees： EJCA Members: Free, use your membership email address for registration. Please register each adult individually.
Non-member: 1 Adult - $5.00 including children
Registration: ends on February 26 or when all reserved.
Program:
2:00 pm Door open , Feel free to come when you want and stay as long as you want.
2:00 – 4:00 Hina Dolls display, Japanese pastries, Inari-sushi, Kids Hina Matsuri goodies (1 per child), Kids' crafts and colouring.
2:00 – 3:30 Yukata (Summer kimono) try-on, pre-registration required.
2:15 - 2:30 Tea Ceremony 1
2:30 – 2:50 Traditional Japanese dance and Let's dance Bon Odori!
3:15 - 3:30 Tea Ceremony 2
4:00 pm Event end
Notes:
- Please come with your own drinks if required. We serve Genmai-cha and water.
- Japanese pastries are one per person. Children will receive a pack of Hina Matsuri goodies!
- If you want to try Yukata, please check it in the registration form. Come with a suitable top like a wide-neck T-shirt. Heavy tops like hoodies are not suitable. Come with a large bag to put your cloths in. Sorry, but we do not have children's sizes.
Volunteers, EJCA appreciates your help! Volunteer registration is included in a Hina Matsuri registration form.

日時： 3月2日(土曜日) 午後2時-4時 いつでもご参加になれます。登録必要
場所： EJCA 会館、6750 88 Street, Edmonton
参加費: EJCA 2024年会員ー無料、登録にはMembershipに登録してあるメールアドレスをお使いください。大人はお一人ずつ登録してください。子供は大人と一緒に登録します。
非会員ー大人１人5ドル、大人と一緒に来る子供は無料
登録締め切り: 2月26日、または満席になったら締め切ります。

2:00 - 4:00 雛人形の展示、和菓子、玄米茶、いなり寿司、お子様ひな祭りお菓子（お子様1人につき1袋）、クラフトとぬりえ
2:00～3:30 浴衣試着（登録書の中の事前登録が必要です。）
2:15 - 2:30 お点前 1
2:30 – 2:50 日本舞踊と盆踊り
3:15 - 3:30 お点前 2
4:00 終了
お知らせ:
１. 必要な方は飲み物を持参してください。玄米茶、水をご用意しております。
２. 和菓子はお一人様1個です。お子様には雛祭りグッズの詰め合わせ袋をプレゼントします
3. 浴衣を着たい方は、登録書の中の浴衣試着をチェックしてください。浴衣に適した下着でお越しください。衣服を入れる大き目のバッグをお持ちください。子供サイズの浴衣はありません。
