Thanks to the City of Edmonton Archives, an old reel stored in the EJCA library was transformed into this digital gem, unseen for 45 years! 

Don't miss this unique glimpse into our history. Get ready to delve into our roots with Dr. Gordon Hirabayashi's view of Japanese Canadian heritage in Alberta. During his talk, you will see videos of many cultural activities in Edmonton in1977, featuring glimpses of our past and even some familiar faces of current members. It is a rare chance to see our heritage unfold and reconnect with our younger selves.

エドモントン市公文書館のご協力により、EJCA図書館に保管されていた45年間未公開だった古いリールが、珠玉のデジタル映像に生まれ変わりました！私たちの歴史を垣間見るユニークな機会をお見逃しなく。ゴードン・ヒラバヤシ博士による日系カナダ人の遺産についてのお話の間に1977年当時のエドモントンにおける日本文化活動のビデオがたくさん入っています。ご一緒にEJCAのルーツを掘り下げましょう！上映後は、ディスカッションやお茶を楽しむ時間があります。
