The Japanese Canadian Legacies Society (JCLS) is supporting EJCA Calligraphy Club for the project titled “EJCA Calligraphy Club – Funding for Master Calligrapher and Calligraphy classes.”

The Project is to invite Calligraphy teacher, Ms. Shidehara, and her assistant, Ms. Tai, from Japan to Edmonton to conduct two types of workshops:          (1) workshops for club members, (2) workshops for EJCA members.

The JCLS Community Projects stream seeks to support community-led projects that promote Japanese or Japanese Canadian culture or opportunities for Japanese Canadians to connect with each other and/or their culture or identity.

Accordingly, the Calligraphy Club offers two workshops for the EJCA members to experience Japanese Calligraphy.

Title:             Experience a Wonderful World of Calligraphy
