Celebrations and Open House of the New Kitchen

The Kitchen Renovation project that started in July 2023 will be completed by March 31, 2025. All EJCA and ACL members are invited to join the cerebration party.

Date/Time: Sunday, April 13, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Location:     ACL/EJCA Centre - 6750 88 Street Edmonton, AB

Agenda: 11:00 am - Doors open for refreshment

11:15 am - Ribbon cutting ceremony including Opening remarks, and　Recognitions.

11:45 am - Guided tour of the kitchen

Discussion period follows - how we can use the facility effectively.

1:30 pm Closing remarks.

Refreshment and drinks will be served. 

The major fund for the renovation, $250,000, was granted by the Japanese Canadian Legacies Society.

The $14 million Community Fund addresses the enduring intergenerational impact that BC government actions had on the Japanese Canadian community, investing in the future of the community by allocating funds to six project streams: community projects, arts, sports, scholarships, infrastructure, and intergenerational wellness. EJCA applied for the infrastructure category. 

The ACL and EJCA members will enjoy the new kitchen with professional quality equipment in coming many years. Please join the party/open house and see the kitchen!!

キッチン改修の完成祝い/オープンハウスへのご招待状

EJCA 会館の改修プロジェクトは2023年7月に準備を始め、2025年3月31日に完成する予定です。この完成の祝賀会にEJCA及びACL会員の皆様をご招待いたします。

Japanese Canadian Legacies Societyからの25万ドルの助成金のおかげで、キッチンを最新の機器とステンレスの調理台などを備えた現代的で機能的な空間に変身させました。このプロジェクトは、私たちのコミュニティの揺るぎないコミットメントとJapanese Canadian Legacies Societyのビジョンを反映しています。そして、将来の日系人世代のために施設を向上させる共同の努力を象徴しています。どうぞ4月13日のオープンハウスに参加し、私たちのコミュニティを考慮してデザインされたスペースを体験してください。皆様をお迎えできることを楽しみにしています！
