Genki Taiko Workshop 2

Back by popular demand from the children who attended our first session, we're excited to offer the second Genki Taiko Workshop!

First-timers and returning children are all welcome!

The workshop is specially designed for elementary school-aged children. In Series 2, children will explore traditional Japanese songs while developing physical coordination through rhythm and movement. It’s a joyful way to connect with Japanese culture and stay active!

Instruction is in English, with some counting and energetic “kakegoe” (shouts) in Japanese.
Come join us for fun rhythms and powerful beats!

Schedule: Two sessions on Nov. 16, 23, 30, Dec 7 (four Sundays)

Session 1: Elementary School grades 1 - 3,  10 AM - 11 AM

Session 2: Elementary School grades 4 - 6,  11 AM - 12 PM

The min. and max. class size: 5 - 10 children per session.

Fees: EJCA member - $80 for four Sundays

           Non EJCA member - $100 for four Sundays

Registration: by November 12, 2025

Notes: 

• Please register each child independently. If you are registering two or more children, you may register them in the same session of your choice.
• Details of sessions will be emailed to registrants by November 14.
• The sessions may be cancelled if not enough registrants, fees will be refunded.
