Join our Mochitsuki Workshop!

Kick off the New Year by trying traditional mochi making and this year EJCA now has its Kine (pestle) and Usu (mortar) for everyone to use.
Registration is
FREE, and members of all ages are welcome. Give the Kine a swing, help turn the rice in the Usu, and enjoy shaping warm mochi into tasty treats to share with everyone.
Please note: this workshop is separate from the New Year’s Party.
Party registration is not needed to join, and workshop registration does not include party access.

餅つき大会!

ペッタン！ペッタン！伝統的な餅つきを体験しましょう。
お餅は新年を迎えるにあたり、欠かすことのできない日本人のソウルフードです。今年は、EJCAで杵と臼を新しく購入し、みんなで使えるようになりました。
参加費は無料。全会員、年齢を問わず、どなたでもOKです。
杵で餅をついたり、臼の中のお米をひっくり返したり、出来立てのおもちを一緒に楽しみましょう。
※このワークショップは新年会とは別のイベントです。
新年会への登録は必要ありません。また、ワークショップに参加しても、新年会には参加できません。この点をご了承いただきますようお願い申し上げます。
