Embark on a captivating journey into the world of Shodo, the ancient art of Japanese calligraphy!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll discover the meditative beauty of brush and ink.

Whether you're an art enthusiast or just curious about Japanese culture, this hands-on experience will introduce you to the fundamental techniques and philosophies under the guidance of master calligrapher Ranko Shidehara, from Japan.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own "shikishi" paper on a Kakejiku  (hanging artwork) to take home and display!

No Japanese language or calligraphy experience required.
